Qigong Classes

Wed 10/30/13 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Relax and unwind in this class which meets on 7 Wednesdays from Oct 30th to Dec 18th at the Dublin Community Church!

In this fast-paced world, we all get caught up in our responsibilities, taking on more and more.  This leads to tension, both emotional and physical.  Qigong (pronounced chee gung) is a very gentle, but powerful Eastern form of exercise, thousands of years old, that allows you to slow down and listen to your body.  Through gentle, repetitive movements, participants learn techniques for letting go and maintaining a calm, centered place of being throughout their day. Qigong, an internal martial art, most importantly, teaches you awareness, of yourself and the world around you, which can then assist in promoting a sense of balance in your life. The classes will be taught by Ginnette Groome, LMT, CAT, BFP, who has studied Tai Chi and Qigong since 1990, as part of her training in, and teaching of Eastern Medicine.

No class on Wednesday, November 27 -- Happy Thanksgiving!

Cost: $35 MaH members, $70 non-members
