This program will open with a TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Talk, “Prepare for a Good End of Life.”
Jenn McCalley, MSW with the HCS Palliative Care Program will be our informal facilitator as well as a panelist of the interactive forum following the TED Talk. Jenn will address points to cover with loved ones around these important conversations and end-of-life care planning. Good Shepherd Staff: Ann Nunn, RN, Administrator and Lucy Stowell, Director of Social Work and Admissions, will address discussions on the different caregiving options and concerns such as issues and stresses in any place that a loved one calls home (residence or facility).
